Our island adventure commences at Maputo Marina, serving as the starting point for our exploration. Throughout the journey, we will traverse various locations using speedboats. Our initial destination is Santa Maria, which is situated within the Maputo peninsula. Prior to reaching our final stop, we pause to enjoy a delectable lunch on Inhaca Island. Afterwards, we continue our excursion to the Portuguese Islands, where we unwind and relax for the remainder of the afternoon.

Day 1
Day of Arrival: Ponta Do oura
Coco Rico Resort is nestled against the backdrop of the ocean, within the town of Ponta Do Ouro, known for its pristine beaches and warm water. Coco Rico Resort is the perfect venue for that much needed getaway.
Situated approximately 600km from Johannesburg, and 400km from Durban, embedded in the most southern part of Mozambique, (12km from the Manguzi /Kosi Bay Border Post), Coco Rico Resort is truly a unique and remarkable exotic destination.
Day 2
Bar Hopping in Ponta Malongane
Get ready for an adventure on the sand. The bar-hopping experience takes you to 2 bars all the way to Malongane. Each bar is unique in its own way.
Our estimated time back at the resort is 17:00 where there will be braai stand out and available should you want to throw some meat or seafood on the braai.( for your own account)

Ponta – Maputo

And just like that, its all over! Today is the day, we say goodbye after having a fun weekend.
Departure from Maputo is scheduled for 09:00am.
Once we have crossed the Komatipoort tborder into South Africa, the journey continues toward Nelspruit (Mbombela), where you’ll have a brief stop to refresh and stretch your legs. Our estimated time of arrival back in Johannesburg is between 21:00-21:30
