What to Expect

Victoria Falls is rapidly becoming the “adrenaline capital” of Africa as it increases its array of activities on land, sky and water, and the Zambezi River has so much to offer to visitors of all ages, fitness levels and interests.

As far as Victoria Falls experiences go, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River is one of the most popular activities in Victoria Falls. The magnificent Chobe River rises in the Angola highlands and winds its way to the Zambezi River, flanked by forests, floodplains and woodlands. With the highest concentration of African elephants on the continent, and over 450 different bird species you’d better charge your camera and pack your binoculars.

Day 1 Arrive Vic falls

Arrive into Victoria Falls, Southern Africa’s adventure capital. At the airport you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. This afternoon, relax on a sunset cruise along the mighty Zambezi River.

Day 2Tour of the falls

After breakfast enjoy a guided tour of the spectacular Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and the largest single sheet of falling water on Earth. The force of the water, estimated at around 545 million litres per minute during the rainy season, sends clouds of spray up to 500m into the air. The falls lie within Victoria Falls National Park and from the forest path which runs along the edge of the falls, there are a number of spectacular vantage points.

In the afternoon is free for you to partake in one of the exciting optional activities that Victoria Falls has to offer. There are activities to entertain all ages and interests from high octane to sedate. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the falls on a helicopter ride or an exhilarating micro light flight, go white water rafting on the Zambezi River, bungee jump from Victoria Falls Bridge, go on an elephant back safari or enjoy a scenic horse ride. We recommend booking activities in advance so please let our reservation team know what interests you.

Day 3Day trip to Chobe (Botswana)

A full day Safari package comprising a Cruise on the Chobe River and a Game Drive in the world famous Chobe National Park. Only an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls, the Chobe National Park in Botswana is home to one of the largest game concentrations in Africa. Bordered by the banks of the breath-taking Chobe River, it is famous for its rich elephant and lion population. The tour departs at 7am from the hotel sharp. A buffet lunch will also be served. A party for the night once we get back to the hotel.

Day 4Free Day & Boma dinner in the evening

A free day to also check other activities or simply walk around the markets. Spend some time meeting locals and enjoying their hospitality.

5pm: The Boma restaurant menu has something for everyone. Your four-course dinner begins with a shared starter platter featuring mouth-watering specialities such as skewered peppered impala, smoked crocodile tail and corn ciabatta and “nyimo” fritters.
